Korean-American violinist Seula Lee began studying the piano at the age of six and the violin four years later. She studied with Songyoung Kim in Dallas and has participated in the Meadowmount School, Eastern Music Festival, Castleman Quartet Program, and Manhattan in the Mountains. Lee was awarded Grand Prize of National Young Artists Competition of Coeur d’Alene, Dallas Music Festival, Hubbard Competition, Sheila and Werner Harms Young Artists Competition, Denton Bach Society Competition, and University of North Texas Concerto Competition among others. Ms.Lee completed her Bachelor’s Degree at The University of North Texas where she studied with Philip Lewis and is currently studying with Grigory Kalinovsky and serves as an Assistant Instructor at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. |
